Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Curious George, the man in the yellow hat, and a banana!  I am not sure who loved these costumes more, me or the boys!  They were ADORABLE and I just couldn't get enough of it!  It was also unseasonably warm so Walker only wore the banana for photos and then was sporting a onesie the rest of the time.  We hosted a mini Halloween party for our friends and neighbors (bummed I never snapped a picture!) before heading out for trick or treating fun.  The boys were really into this year and we ended up walking our whole neighborhood...everyone was on board until we were about 10 houses away from being finished and the bags were heavy and the legs tired!  It was still a fun night and we've already started planning for next year!

October Photo Bomb

Sometimes we just need to snap a picture and there isn't enough of a story to need a whole post...enjoy!  I think these boys are pretty cute...

Jelly Belly

We're getting pretty, okay EXTREMELY excited that Miss P and her mama and daddy are almost our neighbors and as we wait for the move to be finalized, we are passing the days with as many Mirch playdates as we can muster!  Today's adventure was both entertaining and delicious!  How is it I have lived here over 7 years and have never been to the Jelly Belly Factory?!?!  I think we'd all agree, it's going to be a new favorite...free tours, free samples, free hats...what's not to love?

Bishop's Family Pumpkin Patch

We have always loved Bishop Pumpkin Patch and try every year to make it up on a weekday to try and beat the crowds...well this year Miss P and Auntie came along and it was a win win win for everyone!  The hot weather made it a little tricky to get in the fall spirit, but the kids were stoked for the train, ponies, slides, petting zoo, snacks, dirt, and fun...so much fun we never made it to actually pick out a pumpkin before Wyatt had an epic meltdown and the mamas were ready for a warm cookie and what we prayed would be a quiet car ride home...everyone enjoyed the cookie and by the time we arrived home, everyone had finally fallen asleep, some had even woken back up ready for their next adventure!

One Month Young

Mr. Walker Roo, you are one month old today and I honestly cannot figure out where the last 31 days have gone.  Your sweet personality and LOVE of being held and cuddled make my mama heart so happy.  You roll with our crazy day to day schedule and have learned to love sleeping in the car or wrap.  Everyone who ever meets you asks how old you are and then how much you weighed when you were born...ya, you're kind of a big dude.  Your older brothers LOVE on you all day long, they sing to you, cuddle you, and talk in the sweetest baby voice whenever they come to check on you. We're trying to get you to love your paci, so far you're not too sure about it.  You have a tendency to spit up A LOT after you eat so in an effort to help your belly, we're burping all the time and pushing the paci after you're good and full!  This past month has been filled with growth, adaptations, laughter, and tears; sometimes the days have seemed overwhelming for everyone in the house and yet just a few moments rocking you can mellow everything out.  We love you Walker Roo, happy first birthday!

El Nino....Maybe....

It rained today...I know that may not be novel idea to most, but to drought ridden Californians, it might as well have been the apocalypse!  I am not sure the boys have ever even lived through a rainstorm, honestly, and what better a a first rain storm than one that is warm enough you can dance outside and wear shorts?  We took full advantage, busting out the umbrellas and having a dance party on our new side yard.  The big boys boogied on TOP of the table and Walker was just happy as pie to be wrapped in his mama's lap.  Fingers crossed we'll have another chance to use our umbrellas this year!

Metcho Maddness

What do you do when you need a big Jack fix and Fairfield is out of school...you head over to the Metchos for a pj party!  This was Jack's first time meeting Walker and the big boys were SOOOOOO excited to play with Mads and Jack, it was a win win for everyone!  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family to call friends, I look forward to every minute we spend with them!

Couldn't You Just Eat Him Up???

We took Walker's newborn photos at 6 days old and I just can't get enough of them!  As soon as Kristy got me the proofs I went to work on the announcement and, fingers crossed, should be getting it sent out just in time to beat the one month mark!  Walker Roo, I never ever ever imagined my life with three little boys and now I cannot, even for one tiny second, imagine my life any other way!  My three littlest loves, you make your daddy and me so very happy!
