And just like that, Mr. Wyatt Bear has become a little boy...his talking is out of control, his gross motor skills are top notch as he continuously tries to keep up with his brother, and his sweet little personality just grows as he does. I can't believe my baby will be 2 in a few months and has begun to show you two fingers (one on each hand just like his brother did) when you ask him how old he will be or how many ears he has. From baby to big boy, this little dude reminds me just how fast they do grow up!

All the way to Lizzy's
Little Guy rode his bike all the way to Lizzy's and home today! He has figured out the side walk and had no trouble keeping up and crossing the busy road! Way to go dude!
MDO and Summer Birthdays
Mr. Wyatt Bear had his first day ever at MDO and while it took a little while for him to get comfy, he ended up doing so well and having a blast with all the Elmo toys. He went there while Mommy and Daddy went to help in Little Guy's classroom for the summer birthday celebrations. The pinata was a blast and I am so glad were able to be there when they sang Happy Birthday, it melted my heart! I can't believe we are coming up on the last week of preschool, how did this year go by so fast?!?!

Mother's Day Muffins
Today was Muffins for Moms day ate preschool and even though I woke up with the largest swollen eye from who knows what, it was still a blast! I loved getting to stay with Little Guy for a morning treat and even better was the most special pot he painted with a photo flower. I LOVE all the preschool gifts they make, nothing could make me happier. Thank you Little Guy and Mr. Wyatt Bear for making me the proudest Mommy ever, I love you!

Pedal to the Metal
AHHHHH, guess who is riding a two wheeler pedal bike?!?!? Little Guy, along with all his buddies, was lucky enough to get a bike from Santa but has had no interest in riding it. He has been perfectly content on his balance bike and we haven't pushed the issue. Well today he decided he wanted to ride his red bike and just like that, he did. He has mastered his balance bike and can pedal a tricycle like no other so bike riding was really just a matter of combining the two skills. Wednesday he insisted I hold on the back of the bike the whole time- that's a whole lot of running and bending for this preggo mama...Thursday he insisted he could ride by himself but still wanted his bike held whenever starting off- the wobbling was still throwing him off...by Friday he had mastered starting and pedaling and wanted nothing to do with help. I told him to keep on practicing, he was going to be pedaling himself to the ice cream shop in Sunriver this summer! Little Guy we are so proud of you, it's the most wonderful thing to watch you ride and hear you ask first thing in the morning and last thing before bed to go on just one more bike ride!

Mama Said...
there'd be days like this...you can't win them all and you know that preschool may have been a little rough when your sweet love is sitting in the teacher's lap during pick up. Little Guy had a rough go today and after discussing the appropriate times to show your teachers you funny face (not during Bible time with Pastor Mary) or when to sing with your monster voice (not when you're singing 'Jesus Loves Me") we decided to start a marble jar to reinforce the good behavior. The teachers and I all agree that Little Guy means well and has a heart of gold, it's just some days are tougher than others to reign in your crazy and not be out of control (so it goes for almost all 3 year old boys I imagine)....So here's to marble jars, crazy days, and figuring it all out....

Just Kicking It
I have finally felt this little love bug move! I was beginning to think my uterus was completely numb to the touch, but low and behold, this baby is moving! It's not quite enough for anyone to be able to feel with their hand on my belly, but I am feeling it and baby kicks are still, even in my third pregnancy, one of my most favorite things about these special nine months.
