Two years ago we started the Fitzsimmons Family Soiree where we celebrate Christmas before the actual date so everyone can be there and we get to have extra time hanging out. This year my parents hosted, and in usual Tim and Tina fashion, it was a fabulous party! Gabe tended to the spit and roasted a whole pig, a highlight of the day, and we a started a new tradition with a group gift exchange instead of drawing names. I think everyone would agree that's the way to do it from now on. It's such a treat to have everyone together, I treasure all the time with my grandparents and aunts and uncles.
