Daddy left for Colorado today and let me just say, we miss him already! He'll only be gone for three days (talk about a whirlwind trip), but it never fails the kiddos seem to know when Daddy is gone for the night and it never goes quite as smoothly as I imagine...kids going down early, or even on time, curling up to watch taped TV that Gabe doesn't enjoy, heading to bed with a magazine, and drifting to sleep for 8 hours of rest...if that doesn't sound like a mommy's dream, I am not sure what does. Fingers crossed we get as much sleep as we can muster these next two nights...safe travels Daddy, we'll miss you!
